"We don’t need to have just one favorite. We keep adding favorites. Our favorite book is always the book that speaks most directly to us at a particular stage in our lives. And our lives change. We have other favorites that give us what we most need at that particular time. But we never lose the old favorites. They’re always with us. We just sort of accumulate them."
- Lloyd Alexander

The Catcher in the Rye

I grew up with many classic books assigned especially for me in my English classes. I didn’t feel yuck to be assigned so, i loved reading and i still do. Two decades have passed and here i am, the biggest geek still, whose most favourite book is, still, The Catcher in the Rye. For me, there is no biggest hero than Holden ‘Vitamin’ Caulfield.

The announcement of J.D. Salinger’s death today wasn’t such a surprise. But it doesn’t mean i’m not sad to hear it. Please rest in peace.

‘Dont ever tell anybody anything. If you do you start missing everybody’
Holden Caulfield, The Catcher in the Rye.
